Overview
Fliy̼uj Se was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1072, by Glêbrê Gruffudd. The establishment of Fliy̼uj Se was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Glêbrê Gruffudd struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Fliy̼uj Se as a prison colony.
Fliy̼uj Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fliy̼uj Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fliy̼uj Se is buildings are located arround a single restrictive paverstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Fliy̼uj Se has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Fliy̼uj Se ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The people are clearly worried about something, and everyone is either wearing a weapon or has one close at hand. Your gut tells you it’s not mere fate which has caused this town to begin failing...

Cultural Notes
Fliy̼uj Se's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century heavy spring rains following an uncharacteristically dry year and a minor earthquake resulted in the collapse of the north west face of Mount Ill Tides. the landslide struck Fliy̼uj Se, and devastated the community. 114 people, 353 livestock, and 58 buildings were lost to the calamity. The disaster is recorded in history as Ill Tides's Fall.
